Calibrate gears
You will record 25 lever positions. Hold the lever still at each one.
- Point 1: gear lever all the way down.
- Points 2 to 24: move the lever up until the console first shows the next gear, then stop pedalling.
- Point 25: gear lever all the way up.
With auto-capture on, each point is taken once the reading has held steady for about 2 seconds. Otherwise tap CAPTURE.
Calibration is done while pedalling. Keep pedalling the whole time; the console shows the gear while you pedal.
- First the bridge learns your crank: pedal steadily for about 10 seconds. It beeps twice quickly when done.
- Point 1: gear lever all the way down.
- Points 2 to 24: move the lever up until the console first shows the next gear, then hold it there.
- Point 25: gear lever all the way up.
With auto-capture on, each point is taken once 3 pedal turns in a row agree. Otherwise tap CAPTURE.
Every finished calibration is saved on this phone automatically.

Diagnostic run
A guided recording of the raw magnetometer field while you move the lever, turn the crank and pedal. The bridge records 25 samples a second; afterwards the page downloads the recording and saves it on this phone. Needs firmware v2 with recording.
